Lst weekend, dave shot down to egg harbor for the annual season
opener, the jack frost classic. The weather was great, and the turnout was huge. With a stacked class, the best Dave could
manage was a 5th, 4th, and 5th, leaving him just shy of making the main event. you can check out a couple of shots from race
day in the gallery on the team page.
J.T. and max have been getting some practice in at englishtown, and with
reno returning from his broken femur, the motocross guys are looking forward to a solid season.

Dave shot down to Egg Harbor, NJ yesterday for the anual Vet's day race.
After being off the bike for a couple of weeks, he was a bit rusty in practice but worked out the bugs come race time. With
some good gate starts and decent track possition, he finished the day with 2-2-3 finishes in his motos and a 3rd in the
main. Thats all for now.

Last week the motocross guys headed down to wildwood NJ for the thunder on the beach race.
JT raced 2 classes on both days. In the 450 class, he finished with a 6th on saturday and a 3rd on sunday. In the 250"a"
class, he was able to manage a 9th on saturday and an 11th on sunday amongst some very tough competition. Max took home teh
1st place trophy in the schoolboy class and finished on the podium with a 3rd in 250"b" Check for new pics in the gallery.
Dave went up to howel NJ last weekend to finish up his season at the NJ state championship
race. After sneaking into the main, dave came home with the 3 spot for the day, finishing 3rd for the year. A few spots shy
of his goals, but with his knee injury early on, he's not too bummed about it. he would like to thank all of his sponsors, --

OK, lets start with two weeks ago at the northeast regional championship race
in woodward PA. Dave shot up there early friday morning, and got settled in his cabin with 28 of his closest bmx racing friends.
after hanging in line for registration adn bike inspection, they opened the track for practice. Dave got in a solid 4 hours
practice on a beutifull day and had the track dialed. standings were posted and Dave was looking good for a top ten year end
finish. Saturday morning rolls in and it was freezing cold and foggy. after the morning practie sessions, the rain rolled
in and the race was cancled. the make-up race on sunday was cancled also. they have rescheduled this race for oct. 31 in long
island, but Dave will not be able to make it./ you can check a good shot of Dave from friday's practice over on the team
page.
This weekend is huge for scarred 4 life, as Dave will be heading to howell NJ
for the NJ state championship, and JT, max, and Christian will be heading to Wildwood NJ for "thunder on the beach"

Sorry about the late update, championship time in these parts, so things
are a little hectic.
Last weekend, Dave headed up to howel to get some much needed local points
before the championship races. With some great racing in the motos, it was clear that it could have been anyone's race that
day. Dave walked into the main with 3-4-2 finishes. having a great gate start in the main, and good technical work throughout
the race, he found himself in a three way fight for first entering the last turn. BUT, as the two other riders came together
and went down, Dave couldn't avoid the carnage and took a soil sample of his own. He managed to get back up and finish in
5th, but came out un-injured.
Dave will be heading out to woodward PA this weekend for the northeast regional
championship. we'll keep you posted

Dave shot up to Flemington NJ on sunday for a state qualifier double header.
after making both main events, unable to crack that podium egg, he managed two 4th place finishes for the day. It's
back to serious training for the upcoming reginal series championship as well as the nj state championship.

Dave headed out to howell nj over the weekend to get some local
racing in. He's been super busy with work these days, so it's been a while since he was on the track. the heat/humidity, his
slip in training, and two classes at a small event proved to be a little much for dave. althoughg he felt strong in his first
motos for both his class and the pro/am, the short rest between races proved too much, as his performance dwindled after that.
He finished the day with a 6-6-5 in the pro/am, and in his class he finished 2-5-3 and pulled a 3 spot in the main event
Dva ewill be heading to Flemington this week for a double header of the NJ state
series qualifiers.

A couple of weeks ago, Dave headed up to Hazleton Pa. for day 2 of the northeast regional
race. With a good gate start, strong possition, and a little luck, he found himself on the 3 spot on the podium for the day.
His knee is still not 100%, but he's able to do a little more everyday and looks forward to getting backl to full training
soon.

After 6 weeks of no training or riding due to a patellar tendon injury, Dave
finally got back to the track last weekend for a NJ state qualifier. Although his skills were ok, he was seriouslly slower
than before, and his gate starts were horrible. the best he could manage for the day was a 4th place finish. But he is back
on the bike and back to training.
we've started a photo album here at S4L, but we are a little shy on pictures.

better late then never!!
A little late on this update, sorry about that.
Last week, Dave shot up to Howel for CJ BMX opening day. The weather
was awesome and the turnout was great with 40 motos!! not too shabby for a local. After flipping the gate in practice,
holding onto the bars became a painfull task for Dave. However, He's the kinda guy who eats nails for breakfast, and
wasn't about to leave without racing. He was able to sneak into the main with 4-3-3 finishes in his motos, but could only
manage a 6th in the main. In the pro/am race, he rode the bubble with consistant 5ths, just outside of a spot in the
main.
Dave will be hitting day2 of the northeast regional in Egg Harbor this weekend.
keep on the lookout for how he did.

Dave headed down to Egg Harbor this past weekend for the annual Jack
Frost classic. With some very stiff competition, he was only able to manage a 5-4-4 for the day. This was a good race
for him to dust the cobwebs off, and see where he needs work. He also spent a few minutes doing a little interview/bike check
with Crazy Al Cayne. you can head over to the bmx section of http://www.cac-tv.com and check it out, or the direct link is http://www.cac-tv.com/2009/03/jack-frost-dave-pulaski/ As it turns out, Dave is a better racer than he is an interviewer, as he didn't mention Scarred

straight from the horses mouth--
"well, the championship race
was yesterday, and even though i was feeling good, i'm still not where i was before the injury. A couple of more weeks and
i would have been in prime form, but i didn't have a couple more weeks!!! i struggled with gates in my motos, but got a little
better each time as i got more comfortable. In the main, i had a great gate and was in a fight for first, but rubbed tires
and had to back down to avoid falling. I quickly went from fighting for first, to trying to hold on to 4th.had a strong second
straight and was back in the mix. A bobble in the third straight kept a podium finish out of my reach, as i crossed the line
in 4th. It was good enough for a 2nd over-all for the year, but i would have liked to finished a bit stronger in the championship
race.
thanks to www.vengeanceclothingltd.com and www.steelmx.com for sticking by me when i was down with injury. these guys are both great--please check them out when
you get a chance. A special thanks goes out to Chris Whiley for snapping some shots for me at the race. And thanks to www.xcelnutrition.com for picking me up for the remainder of this year and the full 2009 season
taking a week off to
rest my brain, then it will be back to training for next year. i plan to add a little mountainbike racing into the mix next
year as well.

Dave went up to Howell on Sunday for the last NJ state qualifier. Although
he had some good gate starts and a strong first straight, the long lay off from the broken collar bone became evident in the
technical 2nd and 3rd straightaways of the howell track. Dave was able to sneek into the main and hold on to a podium spot,
finishing in 3rd for the day.

kenny is still recovering, but doing well
Dave hit a state qualifier in Egg Harbor on Saturday. after two months off
the bike, it was clear that his gates and skills were a bit "off". he was able to pull it together when the gate dropped and
won all three of his motos, giving him a run in the main. As he entered the last turn in the main, making a move for third
place, the time off really showed. Both of dave's thighs cramped up, leaving him to coast the entire last straight, watching
3rd and 4th place slip away, leaving him to settle for a 5th.

Dave was in Egg Harbor Saturday for the opening round of the NJ State Series
as well as the Hyper Pro/am. Dave hung with the pack in the Pro/am but couldn't break into the main. With no rest between
his Pro/am and his expert class motos, He did manage a 3-3-2 in his expert motos earning him a spot in the main. Dave was
able to put it all together when he needed to and squeezed out a hard earned win in the main, taking the skinny #1 for
the day.
